500 is a series of digital artworks blending the physical and the digital to create an immersive experience — a journey from anxiety to love. Reflecting on the distressing speed of contemporary change, extreme emotions and the ancient meaning of numbers, the works offer digitally infused moments of contemplation and meditation.
Rooted in sustained listening to peaceful sounds and reflections on real-life experience, the series encompasses digital still prints, moving images and sound. Created using a custom-built generative algorithm written in C++, these technologically infused works share a devotion to celebrating the soul’s rumination of invisible matter.
